Total Football Soccer Show#30 – World Cup 2010 Group A Preview

World Cup 2010 is coming, and so we plan to preview all eight groups one episode at a time. First up is Group A, featuring South Africa, Mexico, France and Uruguay.

But these aren’t your standard previews. There’s none of that “team x has good strikers, so they’re going through…” laziness that passes for a preview these days. Well, almost none. Instead we have each of your four co-hosts representing one of the four teams.

Taylor: South Africa
Albert: Mexico
Josh: Uruguay
Daryl: France

We then go through various categories (like team nickname, national anthem, best ever player and so on) with each co-host making the case case for why their team should win that category. Taylor keeps score and at the end the points are tallied to reveal who won the group. As Albert says, it’s very scientific.
