Total Football Soccer Show #10: Olympics, World Cup Quals, and Julio Cesar’s Better Half’s Blog
By: Daryl | October 8th, 2009
Because Rio de Janeiro was awarded the 2016 Olympics last week, we thought it was a good excuse to talk about Olympic soccer. Specifically: What’s wrong with it? Can it be saved? Could London 2012 and Rio 2016 be its saviour?
We also preview the upcoming World Cup qualifying finale, and ask why no one in the USA or England can watch their teams play on good old-fashioned TV this Saturday.
Last but not least, we got overexcited and listed the Top 5 Things We’re Most Looking Forward to at World Cup 2010. Even though it’s still around nine months away.
All that, plus the latest new from the Inter and Brazil goalkeeper’s wife’s blog.
The show was originally broadcast Thursday, October 8th, 2009 on WRIR , but is now available as a podcast. You can listen to the show below, subscribe to the feed here, or get with the cool kids and subscribe via iTunes here

good morning, You write some very good blogs. I always check back here often to see if you have updated. Has everyone been following the Olympics? I found a funny olympics Blooper video on youtube that shows what happens when an athlete pushes it too hard, check it out, it will make you laugh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Phw_pGC4kE
